New To WVBC?

New to WVBC?

We're excited that you have chosen to visit us! We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating. You can expect a warm greeting, but we won't do anything to single you out or embarrass you. We want you to be comfortable, so here is some information to help make your first visit a great one.

We look forward to meeting you!

The basics

We offer one Sunday service at 11am.

Spanish translation is available via headset.

Dress is casual.  Our chapel has wheelchair access.

What to wear

Wear what you're comfortable in, whether that be a suit or shorts - we're more concerned with people's hearts than what they are wearing.

The Service

The worship service includes some great music, a 30-minute message from a pastor that focuses on the Bible and how it applies to your life, and testimonials and encouragement from the church family.

Participate At your pace

You can choose to sing, pray, and talk at your own pace. There is no pressure to participate. Our greatest desire is that you experience God while you are here. If you have questions, feel free to pull aside any of our ushers or ministry staff for assistance.

Kids & Students

Nursery-5th grade classes offered on Sundays at 11:00am-noon. Grades 1-5 (pre-school to Grade 5 in summer) begin in the worship service and participate in the music portion, before being dismissed to their classes.  Our children's leaders are here to welcome and engage your kids in a fun and educational experience. On Wednesdays at 6:30pm, kids are invited to The Rock, a fun and relational time with Bible taught in creative ways. All classes are located in the Children’s Center (Building A).

Middle School and High School Groups meet on Sundays at 9:30am in the newly renovated Youth Center.  Wednesday Youth Group meets at 6:30pm in the Youth Center.

Adult Classes

If you’re ready to jump into a more intimate and focused learning time, we offer several adult classes. Each class offers individualized prayer, solid Bible teaching and fellowship time.

Sundays:

9:30am “Journey” class (all ages but mostly 25-60) – Basement

9:30am “Villagers” class (mostly ages 50-90) – Fellowship Hall

See Small Group page for weekly Bible study groups and information on LifeGroups.
